The Holiday Inn Golden Mile, on Kowloon Peninsula, is a great place to stay. The people are courteous and the location is great!! > You can connect to their subway by going just across the street from the hotel. > You can walk to the pier and watch the laser light show at night (just 2 blocks away) > Right in the heart of Kowloon where you can walk for one block to a reasonable mean. The rooms are clean and comes a reasonable rate. My husband and I always stay here...

Great Location! Easy Access From Airport!

The room was approx 110sq ft. There was just enough room for the bed. The room was not renovated except for the bathroom, which was updated with a granite countertop (10 yrs ago?). The travetine/marble tile on the tub wall was in need of repair. I was offered a larger room for US$53.00 more per night but that room was also not renovated.
I am sure the executive rooms are much better, but did not upgrade.
Now, the good:
The Hotel was easily accessed by the airport express train (approx. US$22.00 R/T) down to Kowloon Station and from there a complimentary shuttle (#3) will take you to the hotel. The shuttle leaves every 12 minutes. The hotel is in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) and shopping abounds tight outside of the hotel.
Would stay there again. -

07/13/2007The executive club is worth the $ with breakfast and evening cocktails. location is excellent, just next to tst mtr station. nearest shopping mall is sogo.
